ATDBio is an independent company operating from the School of Chemistry at Southampton University. We have a special interest in all aspects of oligonucleotide synthesis and our aim is to consistently deliver high quality products based on a deep understanding of the chemistry of modified oligonucleotides and oligonucleotide analogues.

The founders
The founders of ATDBio have 20 years' experience in the synthesis and study of nucleic acid analogues.
- Tom Brown is Professor of Bio-organic Chemistry at Southampton University and is the author of over 150 publications and patents in the Nucleic Acids field. He was the founder and head of Oswel Research Products from 1992 to 2001.
- Dorcas Brown was Laboratory Manager at Oswel Research Products Ltd for over 10 years. She has a wealth of experience in the synthesis of chemically modified oligonucleotides.
